I’m excited to announce that I have filed for the Republican nomination for State Representative for the 50th district (Nelson County). For those that don’t know me, let me introduce myself.
My name is Trey Bradley. I’m married to Amanda Boone Bradley, she’s a 4th-grade teacher at St. Joseph School. I have two children, Jack, 13, and Madelyn, 9. I was born, raised, and currently live on a small farm in Bloomfield. I graduated from Nelson County High School in 1998 and I’m a 2002 Graduate from the University of Kentucky.
My parents are John and Nancy Bradley. Both worked 40+ years here in Nelson County, my father at Heaven Hill and my mother at American Fuji Seal, and they worked hard to provide a better future for my sister and me. I’m fortunate to have been raised here in Nelson County, surrounded by family, friends, and many people in our community that have impacted my life. From teachers to coaches to church members, the people of this county have had a hand in who I am today.
I am Nelson County and live Nelson County values every day: faith, hard work, and being a man of your word. Those are the values that I’ll take to Frankfort.
I believe that Nelson County and our Commonwealth’s best days are ahead of us, not behind us. I also believe that the people of Nelson County want a government that represents them and their values. A government that stays out of their lives and lets them live as they see fit. A government that taxes you less, spends wisely and invests in our future.
I’m Trey Bradley, and I ask for your vote on May 17th.
